Fatuma Maigua is a dedicated Clinical Officer, community leader, and the Founder and Chairperson of New Fatuma Rise Foundation. She is deeply passionate about improving the welfare and well-being of communities through sustainable development, education, healthcare, and social empowerment initiatives. With her background in healthcare, she has witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by vulnerable families, children, and young people, which inspired her to establish the foundation as a platform for positive change. Her vision is to create a society where every child has an equal opportunity to access quality education regardless of their social or economic background, and where communities are empowered to overcome poverty, inequality, and other barriers to development. Through New Fatuma Rise Foundation, she is committed to supporting educational programs, promoting health awareness, advocating for the rights of vulnerable groups, encouraging youth and women empowerment, and mobilizing resources to improve the lives of those in need. She believes that education is a powerful tool for transforming lives and that strong, healthy, and educated communities are the foundation of lasting development. Susan Wanjiru

Susan Wanjiru serves as the Vice Chairperson of the New Fatuma Rise Foundation, bringing a powerful combination of professional expertise, leadership, and a deep love for children to the organization.
​As a dedicated Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) teacher, Susan understands firsthand the foundational needs of rural children. Her daily work in the classroom fuels her passion for community service, making her a natural champion for the foundation's mission. Known by her colleagues and community for her incredibly kind, gentle, and charitable spirit, Susan has a massive heart for uplifting vulnerable groups.
​In her role as Vice Chairperson, she channels this immense compassion into practical action, ensuring that every program and initiative launched by the foundation is executed with empathy, integrity, and a focus on lasting impact.

Godfrey Muriuki

Godfrey Muriuki serves as the Treasurer of the New Fatuma Rise Foundation, anchoring the organization's financial operations with transparency, strategic planning, and integrity.
​Godfrey holds a Bachelor of Education in English and Literature, an academic background that equips him with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills. His deep appreciation for education aligns perfectly with the foundation’s mission to uplift and support rural children, giving him a unique perspective on how resource management directly impacts grassroots development.
​As Treasurer, Godfrey is responsible for overseeing the foundation's financial health, managing budget allocations, and ensuring that every donation and resource is maximized to create lasting, meaningful change in the community. His sharp attention to detail and commitment to accountability make him a vital pillar of the leadership team.
