Fatuma Maigua
Fatuma Maigua is a dedicated Clinical Officer, community leader, and the Founder and Chairperson of New Fatuma Rise Foundation. She is deeply passionate about improving the welfare and well-being of communities through sustainable development, education, healthcare, and social empowerment initiatives. With her background in healthcare, she has witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by vulnerable families, children, and young people, which inspired her to establish the foundation as a platform for positive change. Her vision is to create a society where every child has an equal opportunity to access quality education regardless of their social or economic background, and where communities are empowered to overcome poverty, inequality, and other barriers to development. Through New Fatuma Rise Foundation, she is committed to supporting educational programs, promoting health awareness, advocating for the rights of vulnerable groups, encouraging youth and women empowerment, and mobilizing resources to improve the lives of those in need.
