OUR MISSION
To restore dignity, improve overall well-being, and empower vulnerable girls, boys, and families in rural communities through targeted educational, health, and welfare support.
OUR STORY
The New Fatuma Rise Foundation is a legally registered Community-Based Organisation (CBO No. 08035) operating under the Department of Social Development in Laikipia, Kenya. Born out of a deep passion for community service and rural empowerment, our foundation was established to bridge the gap for vulnerable children and families in rural communities, with a primary focus on the Segera and Mpala regions.
We believe that every child deserves a fair chance at life, an uninterrupted education, and the opportunity to build a bright future. Guided by the spirit of community development and aligned with Kenya Vision 2030, we actively work on the ground to remove the daily barriers that keep children out of the classroom.
OUR CORE PILLARS
Educational Support: We provide essential learning materials, including school textbooks, exercise books, and writing materials, ensuring students have the tools they need to excel.
Dignity & Attire: We supply school uniforms and sturdy shoes to children, eliminating the stigma of worn-out clothing and helping them stay comfortably in school.
Health & Hygiene: We run dedicated sanitary towel distribution programs for schoolgirls, ensuring that no girl misses school days due to a lack of basic hygiene products.
Family Welfare: Recognizing that a hungry child cannot learn, we step in to support vulnerable families with emergency food relief whenever possible to improve nutritional well-being at home.
